School divisions and families across the country are experiencing ever-increasing numbers of youth and young adults abusing prescription drugs. The threat and the risk to our children's safety is real. We encourage parents to talk to their children about this very real danger and caution parents not to believe that this cannot happen to them. I have prepared an informational PowerPoint presentation highlighting the reasons why youth abuse prescription drugs and how they obtain them.
